The infamous AWP is known for its “high risk, high reward” status in the Counter Strike series. It is a sniper rifle skins available to both Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists. The weapon is based on the Arctic Warfare Police, which was a part of the Arctic Warfare series of rifles, manufactured by the British company Accuracy International. This particular model was made specifically for use by law enforcement. The AWP is one of the most recognizable weapons in Cs2 (CSGO).

The AWP in Combat

The AWP is a sniper rifle, which means it is designed for long-range combat. Typically of this type of weapon, it has a small magazine of 10 bullets and a reserve of 30, the rate of fire is 41 rounds per minute. Due to its ability to inflict high damage, the AWP is notorious for its “one shot, one kill” policy. This means you don’t have to aim for the enemy’s head for the shot to be deadly. Unfortunately, the APW has several drawbacks. It’s pretty inefficient, when walking or running because in order for it to be accurate, you have to use the scope. On top of that, its heavy weight slows the player down a lot.

Thanks to the weapon’s popularity, there are many cool skins available for the AWP. You can find both expensive and relatively cheap options. The AWP skin that costs the least money on the Steam Market is Capillary, with its Factory New version usually running for just over $1. The most expensive skin is the Gungir from the Norse collection. Its price can reach as high as $8,000.
