The M4A1S is an alternative to the infamous M4A4. It is a assault rifle skins that was added to Counter Strike: Global Offensive back in 2013 and is available to Counter Terrorists only. The inspiration for the weapon was the M16A2 rifle, originally developed at the request of the United States Marine Corpse. The M4A1-S is the next iteration of the M4A1, which was featured in the previous games from the Counter Strike series.
The M4A1-S is a weapon suitable for long-range combat. Unlike the M4A4, it has a detachable silencer, which might come in handy in situations that require taking the enemy by surprise. On top of that, it has less recoil and provides better accuracy than its alternative. It’s also worth noting that this rifle inflicts more damage than the M4A4. Unfortunately, the M4A1S also has its drawbacks. These include a small magazine (the smallest of all assault rifles in the game) of 20 rounds and a reserve of 80 rounds. Its rate of fire is also relatively low as it only amounts to 600 RPM, which is worse than the average assault rifle.
CSGO offers many M4A1S skins. There are both cheap options, for players who want to save money, and expensive options, for those who can afford them. The most affordable M4A1S skin is Fizzy Pop, with its Factory New version usually costing less than $2 on the Steam Market. The most expensive is Welcome to The Jungle from the Ancient collection. The Minimal Wear version usually costs around $1500, while Battle Scarred costs around $500.
