The MAC-10 is a submachine gun skins available in the Counter Strike series. It is modeled after the real weapon of the same name, which was first introduced in the 1970s by American manufacturer The Military Armament Corporation. It became famous for its use during the Vietnam War. In the game, the MAC-10 is available exclusively to the Terrorist team and is mostly recommended for early rounds.

The MAC-10 in Combat

The MAC-10 has become famous among players for its high rate of fire, which amounts to 857 RPM. On top of that, it is an extremely light SMG and offers a decent magazine of 30 rounds and a reserve of 100 rounds. Unfortunately, the weapon also has some major drawbacks. Some of them include poor spread accuracy and high recoil (though it is worth noting that its first shot accuracy is comparable to most assault rifles). Additionally, the MAC-10 is characterized by low penetration power. These flaws make the gun difficult to control and affect the ability to inflict kills with it. However, there is no doubt that skilled players should keep an eye on it, especially in times when they are low on funds. It is, after all, the cheapest SMG available in the game.

The Steam Market offers a variety of MAC-10 skins and most of them are very affordable. There are only a few exceptions to suit the needs of the most affluent gamers. However, everyone is guaranteed to find an interesting design that is perfect for them. The cheapest option is the Sienna Damas, which costs a mere few cents. The least budget-friendly of all the cool skins is the Hot Snakes from the Havoc collection. The price for its Factory New version can reach up to $130.
