The Glock-18 (aka 9×19mm Sidearm) is a pistol skins that has appeared in all installments of the Counter Strike series. It was modeled after a pistol, of the same name, created for the Austrian counter-terrorism unit EKO Cobra. The real-life Glock-18 is a selective-fire variant of the Glock 17, an original m9×19mm Parabellum model that was first introduced in 1982. In the game, the pistol is available to Terrorists only (funnily enough, in the real world, this is a weapon used almost exclusively by counter-terrorism units).

The Glock-18 in Combat

The Glock-18 is one of two weapons available in the game (the other being the FAMAS) that has a burst firing mode. This feature allows you to increase its fire rate to 1200 RPM (from a measly 400 RPM in the semi-auto mode). Taking advantage of this option is recommended only for short-distance combat, as it negatively affects the recoil and accuracy of the gun. The Glock-18 is capable of firing three round bursts and is a serviceable first round pistol. It has a magazine of 20 rounds and a reserve of as many as 120 rounds. Its reload time is 2,3 s.

Cosmetic Skins

The Glock-18 is one of CS’s classics, therefore, the choice of **Glock-18 skins **is very substantial. As a spawn weapon of the Terrorist team, it is one of the cheapest items available in the game. Both budget-friendly cosmetic skins and slightly more expensive ones can be found on the Steam Market. Most, however, are reasonably priced. The cheapest Glock-18 skin is the Oxide Blaze, valued at less than $1. In contrast, the most expensive option is the Glock-18 Fade from the Assault Collection. This particular skin is available in Factory New and Minimal Wear versions only, and their prices reach about $1000 and $800 respectively.
