The XM1014 is a fully automatic shotgun skins available in Counter Strike 2 and Global Offensive. It was previously known as the Leone YG1265 Auto Shotgun. The inspiration behind it is presumed to be the Benelli M4 (XM1014 was the official name of its prototype) manufactured by the Italian company Benelli Armi SpA. In the game, the XM1014 is known to possess the ability to “ paint a room with lead fast” and is available to both Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists.

The XM1014 in Combat

The XM1014 is a powerful fully automatic shotgun, infamous for its heftier price tag. In short-range combat, it deals very high damage which is typical of its weapon category, however, unlike its alternatives, it offers a high fire rate of 240 RPM. Unfortunately, this also entails high recoil, which, along with a hefty price tag, is among the XM1014’s main drawbacks. The weapon costs a staggering $3,000 ($2,000 in CS2 and Global Offensive) making it the most expensive shotgun available in CS2(CS:GO). Purchasing the XM1014 is no small investment, however, its high quality and the combat advantages can make up for the money spent.

Cosmetic Skins

The Steam Marketplace offers a wide variety of XM1014 skins. Both very cheap and very expensive options are available. However, thanks to the variety of designs and color combinations, every player can be sure to find the variant that suits them best. The cheapest XM1014 skin is the Charter from the Control collection. It usually costs around a few cents. The most expensive, on the other hand, is the Frost Borre. Its Factory New version can go for as much as $100.
