The Most Expensive AK-47 Skins in CS2 (2026)

The most expensive AK-47 skins in CS2

TL;DR

The most expensive AK-47 skin in CS2 is AK-47 | Wild Lotus, $6,396.02 to $20,453.23 on SkinsMonkey on 25 October 2026 for normal variants. Seven of the eleven priciest AK finishes never dropped from a weapon case, which is what holds their prices up rather than condition.

On this page

A Factory New AK-47 can cost more than a used car. We went through all AK-47 skins in our WIKI, 61 finishes in total, and pulled the eleven with the highest Factory New price. Every number below is a SkinsMonkey price read on 25 October 2026, normal variants only.

Each entry comes with a range. The low end is the most worn copy we list, the high end is Factory New. That range is the part traders argue about, because on some of these the two ends are thirteen times apart and on others barely one and a half. We trade on SkinsMonkey, so these are our own prices rather than an average of somebody else’s.

How We Priced This Ranking

The ranking is by Factory New price on normal variants, read from our own listings. That choice matters, because the three other ways to sort this list give three different orders. Sort by the cheapest wear and Red Laminate jumps from eighth to last. Sort by StatTrak and Fire Serpent runs away with it. Sort by Souvenir and the whole table rearranges, which is a section of its own further down.

Ranges span the five wears from Battle-Scarred to Factory New. Where a skin has no offers in a wear we leave it out rather than guessing, and every figure here came from a listing that existed on 25 October 2026. Supply at this end of the market is thin enough that a finish can go from a handful of copies to none inside a day, so treat these as the prices on the date above rather than a standing quote.

Above $2,000: Wild Lotus, Hydroponic and the Three Behind Them

The top five are where the list stops behaving like a skin market and starts behaving like a collectors market. Four of the five never came out of a weapon case at all, and the fifth came out of one that left the drop pool in 2013.

Wear most people buy
Field-Tested
Field-Tested on Oct 25
$10,360.22
From today
$6,396.57

The ceiling of the AK market. Covert from The St. Marc Collection, never a case item and with no StatTrak version. A Souvenir version does exist and at the cleanest wears it trades above the normal one, so the figure here is the top of the normal market rather than the top of the market. The whole rifle is green on green: lotus flowers, leaves and vines in lime, red and yellow over a darker green body. All five wears exist, and that is where this one separates from the rest of the list, because Battle-Scarred still sits above $6,000. Condition is not what prices this skin, supply is.

  • 2. AK-47 | Hydroponic, $1,258.02 to $5,044.56, Classified from The Rising Sun Collection, so no case ever contained it and there is no StatTrak. Bamboo painted in metallic lime, orange and yellow over the wood grain. Floor to ceiling is a 4.0x move and almost all of it happens in the last step up to Factory New, so Field-Tested is the wear most people actually buy. Second place on this list goes to a Classified rather than a Covert.
  • 3. AK-47 | Fire Serpent, $784.03 to $2,985.46, Covert, released during the Operation Bravo update in September 2013 and out of the Operation Bravo Case, which left the drop pool a very long time ago. Green serpent down the receiver, blue clouds across the magazine, the rest left as plain metal and wood. One detail matters if you are picking a float: our WIKI puts the float range between 0.06 and 0.76, so a 0.00 Fire Serpent does not exist and neither does a fully destroyed one. The ladder is shorter than usual, which props up the bottom of the price range.
  • 4. AK-47 | X-Ray, $503.47 to $2,461.01, Covert from The Havoc Collection, no case, no StatTrak. It prints the rifle’s internal workings across the body in orange and red, which is either the cleverest AK finish in the game or the ugliest depending on who you ask. The 4.9x spread is the widest in the top five, so a Battle-Scarred copy is the cheapest ticket into a skin whose Factory New sits above $2,000.
  • 5. AK-47 | Gold Arabesque, $1,594.99 to $2,425.35, Covert. Our WIKI traces it to Dust II souvenir packages across several Majors, the most recent being Budapest 2025, and there is no StatTrak. Hand-painted filigree covers the stock and handguard with gold on the metal. Floor to ceiling is about 1.5x, the tightest range on the whole list: the gold hides scratches well, so a worn copy looks close enough to a clean one that the market never discounts it much. Buying Battle-Scarred to save money does not really work on this skin.

$800 to $1,110: Jet Set, AUTOEXEC and the 13x Skin

Ranks six to eight, and the band where the wear you settle for stops being a detail. All three of these have floors a normal inventory can reach and ceilings that belong to a different market.

Wear we would buy

$62.42
From today
$62.11

The strangest range on this list: $62.29 to $807.23, roughly 13.0x from bottom to top and the widest gap of all eleven. Classified, from the eSports 2013 Case, which has been out of the drop pool for years. StatTrak copies exist and Souvenir ones do not. Grey and red laminated furniture, the closest CS2 gets to how a real AKM looks. Worn copies at $62.42 are cheap enough to sit in a normal loadout, and the laminate hides that wear well. Factory New copies at $807.23 are a different market entirely, and they are the reason this skin appears in a most expensive list at all.

  • 6. AK-47 | Jet Set, $460.95 to $1,107.77, Classified from The Baggage Collection, with Souvenir copies around and no StatTrak. Orange and yellow with a brown leather-wrapped stock, built around travel stickers rather than anything military. It is the odd one out in a list full of serpents and gold, and it holds this position mostly because The Baggage Collection stopped producing new copies.
  • 7. AK-47 | AUTOEXEC, $113.48 to $893.59, Covert from The Spy Tech Collection, Souvenir yes and StatTrak no. The newest finish in this bracket by a wide margin, a high-gloss blue and pink gradient with graphic print layered over it. The spread is almost 7.9x, which is the biggest decision on the whole skin: a Battle-Scarred AUTOEXEC is a mid-inventory item and a Factory New one is not. The pattern does not change with index, so there is nothing to hunt beyond float.

$740 to $800: Consequence of the Jinn, Leet Museo and Vulcan

Ranks nine to eleven sit within sixty dollars of each other at the clean end, which makes this the one band on the list where the choice is purely taste. One is ornamental, one is a painting of a Dust II push, and one is the most recognisable AK name here by a distance.

03AK-47 | Vulcan

AK-47 | Vulcan

Wear we would buy
Minimal Wear
Minimal Wear on Oct 25
$472.66
From today
$135.11

Eleventh and the best-known name on the list. Covert from the Huntsman Weapon Case, which left the drop pool years ago, with StatTrak and Souvenir copies both in circulation. White and grey plating with blue accents over a carbon-look stock. Its range of $135.63 to $741.62 is one of the widest here at about 5.5x, so the wear you settle for moves the price more than on anything in the top five. The white panels are what the skin is for and they are the first thing wear takes, so the gap between a clean copy and a scuffed one is wider in appearance than the price suggests.

  • 9. AK-47 | Consequence of the Jinn, $104.66 to $799.62, Covert from The Arabesque Collection, never in a case, Souvenir copies exist and StatTrak does not. A Gunsmith finish with a patina effect: bright orange base, high-sheen gold flames, a Jinn figure sitting above the magazine. Every copy looks identical because the pattern is the same at every index, so for once you are buying float and nothing else.
  • 10. AK-47 | Leet Museo, $87.08 to $787.50, Covert from the Operation Riptide Case, retired like every operation case. StatTrak is available and Souvenir is not. Cubism-inspired art shows the Elite Crew Ts advancing up Long A on Dust II, in yellow. It is the only skin here carrying an actual scene from the game, which is why it keeps turning up in sticker craft projects. The 9.0x spread means Field-Tested copies are reachable while the clean ones stay well out of reach.
  • Just outside the eleven: AK-47 | Case Hardened takes twelfth at $249.79 to $610.02 and gets its own section below, then AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel at $109.86 to $579.35 and AK-47 | Jaguar at $109.94 to $529.06. Below that the curve drops fast, and most of the remaining forty-plus finishes live in territory covered in our cheapest AK-47 skins roundup.

What a Plain Case Hardened Actually Costs

A normal Case Hardened runs $249.79 to $610.02. By Factory New price that puts it twelfth, behind Vulcan, which is a result most players find hard to believe given it is the AK everybody talks about.

Twelfth by Factory New price and the only finish on or near this list whose appearance is randomised per copy. Classified from the CS:GO Weapon Case, with StatTrak and Souvenir copies both in circulation. The range of $249.79 to $610.02 covers ordinary copies only. Pattern is a market of its own, with blue coverage on the receiver changing from one pattern index to the next, and the copies collectors chase have almost nothing to do with the numbers here. We keep that side of it in a dedicated guide to AK-47 Case Hardened blue gem patterns. Field-Tested is the sensible wear for an ordinary copy, because the case-hardening effect is a colour map rather than printed art and loses almost nothing to scratches.

The StatTrak and Souvenir Premiums

The ranking above is normal variants, and that understates how high the AK market actually goes. Of the nine skins on this list that have a Souvenir version, every single one has a higher Souvenir ceiling than its normal one. The table below shows the six clearest cases rather than all nine, and on two of them the gap is not a premium but a different order of magnitude.

StatTrak is rarer up here than people expect. Only three of the eleven have it at all, because a finish that never dropped from a weapon case usually never got a StatTrak version either. That is why Fire Serpent, Red Laminate and Vulcan are the only names in the StatTrak column below.

Why These Prices Hold

Three supply stories explain nearly everything on this list, and none of them is about how the skin looks. The first is retired cases. Operation Bravo, eSports 2013, Operation Riptide and the Huntsman Weapon Case are all out of the active drop pool, so the only new copies come from unopened cases already sitting in inventories. Those cases carry a price of their own, which means every fresh Fire Serpent or Leet Museo arrives with a cost attached before anyone looks at the float.

The second is collection-only drops, and this is the bigger factor. St. Marc, Rising Sun, Havoc, Baggage, Spy Tech and Arabesque finishes were never case contents. Copies entered the game only while those collections sat in the drop pool, at Covert and Classified odds inside them. Seven of the eleven skins above reached the market that way or through a souvenir package, which is why four-figure Classifieds like Hydroponic and Jet Set outprice Coverts that had a case behind them.

The third is wear distribution, and it is the one you can act on. Where the floor-to-ceiling gap is narrow, the top wear is just a slightly better copy. Where it is a cliff, the top wear is effectively a separate item with a separate set of buyers.

What a Buyer Can Realistically Do at These Prices

Opening is not a route to any of this. Seven of the eleven never came out of a weapon case, so no amount of opening produces them, and the four that did come from cases that left the drop pool years ago. Trade-ups do not reach Covert either. That leaves buying from someone who already owns one, and the practical question is which end of the range you are buying.

Red Laminate at $62.29 and Leet Museo at $87.08 are the two realistic entry points into this list for a normal inventory, because both have wide spreads and their worn copies hold up visually. Gold Arabesque is the opposite: pay for a clean copy or skip it. When you are ready to swap rather than wait for a cash buyer, you can trade items from your inventory for these on SkinsMonkey, and our CS2 Inventory Value Checker prices a full inventory in one pass so you know what you are working with. If you are building around looks rather than price, our best AK-47 skins list is the better starting point.

The headline finish in each band, plus the Case Hardened

Bottom line

What this list is good for

Wild Lotus sits in its own bracket and will keep sitting there, because its floor is supply rather than condition: even the worst copy stays above $6,000. Everything below it is a different conversation, and the number to read first is the spread. It runs from 1.5x on Gold Arabesque, where buying worn saves you almost nothing, to 13.0x on Red Laminate, where the worn copy and the clean copy are effectively two different items with two different sets of buyers. Red Laminate at $62.29 and Leet Museo at $87.08 are the two realistic entry points into this list for a normal inventory.

For anything above that, read the range before the headline. Gold Arabesque gives you almost no saving for buying worn, so pay for a clean copy or skip it. AUTOEXEC and X-Ray do the opposite and reward patience at the bottom of the ladder. And if you want the names people actually recognise rather than the highest numbers, eleventh place is where they start, which is why our best AK-47 skins list is the better starting point for a loadout. When you are ready to swap rather than wait for a cash buyer, you can trade items from your inventory for these on SkinsMonkey.

FAQ

What is the most expensive AK-47 skin in CS2?

AK-47 | Wild Lotus, at $6,396.02 to $20,453.23 on SkinsMonkey as of 25 October 2026. It is a Covert from The St. Marc Collection, it never dropped from a weapon case, and even Battle-Scarred copies stay above $6,000.

Why is AK-47 | Fire Serpent still so expensive?

Because its supply stopped. Fire Serpent came from the Operation Bravo Case, which left the drop pool years ago, so new copies only appear when somebody opens a case they already own. Its float is also capped between 0.06 and 0.76, which keeps the cheapest wears from getting truly cheap.

Is the AK-47 | Case Hardened one of the most expensive AK-47 skins?

An ordinary Case Hardened is not, at $249.79 to $610.02 it ranks twelfth by Factory New price. Pattern-hunted copies are a separate market driven by how much blue lands on the receiver, which we cover in our Blue Gem pattern guide.

Which expensive AK-47 skin has the lowest entry price?

AK-47 | Red Laminate, which starts at $62.29 in its most worn condition while Factory New copies reach $807.23. That 13x gap is the widest on this list, so the cheap end of an expensive skin is often the most practical way to own one.
