Pet Chicken | Silkie: Pet in CS2
Pet Chicken | Silkie is one of three pet chicken breeds in Counter-Strike 2, next to Catalana and Polish. Pet chickens came to the game with the Rush Hour update on 22 September 2026.
Where It Comes From
Every pet chicken starts as a Chicken Egg from the Weekly Care Package. The egg hatches into a Pet Chick, and the breed shows only when the chick grows into a pullet. The colour of the egg does not reveal the breed in advance.
Colour Variants
The Silkie breed comes in several colour variants. The variant is set when the pullet stage reveals the breed.
Rarity and Trading
Pet Chicken | Silkie carries the High Grade rarity. Valve’s item descriptions mark pets as non-tradable and non-marketable. Chicken Feed keeps the chicken around for longer. More details are in our CS2 chicken eggs guide.
