The Best Gloves in CS2 for Every Budget (2026)

The Best Gloves in CS2 for Every Budget (2026)
On this page

This is our list of the best gloves in CS2 at four levels of spend: under $100, $100 to $300, $300 to $1,000 and above $1,000. For each pair we give the wear we would buy and its SkinsMonkey price on 26 October 2026, and we explain why we picked it over the pairs next to it. Our picks come from all CS2 gloves, 94 finishes across eight glove types.

Our criteria are simple. A good pair has to look good in first person, where you see the back of the hand in every round, and it has to be good value in the wear we recommend. That is why most picks below are in Field-Tested, and why some of the oldest gloves are better bought in Well-Worn. If you want the full catalogue with every finish and price, see our list of all CS2 gloves.

4price levels, with one main pick at each
$529.64Sport Gloves | Vice in Field-Tested, our pick from $300 to $1,000
$135.48Driver Gloves | King Snake, our pick from $100 to $300

How We Chose the Best CS2 Gloves

Every pick is the pair we would buy ourselves at that price, in the wear we would buy it in. We looked at how much of the design you see in first person, how easy the pair is to match with a knife, and what the wear we recommend costs compared with the cleaner and more worn options. The price in each table is for that wear. Prices are SkinsMonkey prices checked on 26 October 2026, and they change with the market.

Gloves are different from weapon skins in one important way. Every glove finish has a float range from 0.06 to 0.80, and Factory New ends at 0.07, so Factory New pairs are very rare and cost several times Minimal Wear. For a pair you want to use rather than collect, Field-Tested and Well-Worn give you the same look for a small part of that price.

Under $100: The Best Cheap Gloves

Under $100 you can choose from about 28 finishes, and on most of them Field-Tested costs only a little more than Battle-Scarred. Our list of the cheapest CS2 gloves covers this range in full. These are the four pairs we think look best for the money.

01Broken Fang Gloves | Jade

Broken Fang Gloves | Jade

Wear we would buy
Field-Tested
Price on Oct 26
$92.10
From today
$92.39

Shiny teal green leather on the Broken Fang Gloves model, with a gold emblem on the back of the hand. It is one of the most colourful gloves under $100, and the gloss makes it look more expensive than it is. Field-Tested costs $92.10, twenty cents more than Battle-Scarred. Green and teal match green knives such as the Gamma Doppler finishes, so this pair is easy to use in a green loadout.

  • Driver Gloves | Racing Green, Field-Tested $39.60, from the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case. Dark green leather Driver Gloves that look like a real pair of gloves. The pair we would pick under $40, and our first pick on the cheapest gloves list.
  • Moto Gloves | Turtle, Field-Tested $78.53, from the same two cases. Bright green Moto Gloves with dark grey padding. Easy to see in first person and cheaper than any other bright green pair.
  • Driver Gloves | Rezan the Red, Field-Tested $78.23, from the Operation Broken Fang Case, the Snakebite Case and the Recoil Case. Dark red leather with a gold woven panel, and the cheapest red Driver Gloves. More red options are in our list of the best red CS2 gloves.

$100 to $300: The Best Value in CS2 Gloves

This is the range where we think most players get the best gloves for their money. Every glove type is available, the colours are brighter, and Field-Tested still costs a fraction of Factory New. Most of our picks here come from the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case.

02Driver Gloves | King Snake

Driver Gloves | King Snake

Field-Tested
Price on Oct 26
$184.79

Our pick for most inventories. White leather Driver Gloves with a grey and black snakeskin texture across the back of the hand. White and grey go with almost every knife, and the snakeskin texture hides light wear, so Field-Tested at $184.79 still looks clean. Minimal Wear costs $635.36, more than three times as much, and Factory New $2,884.26. For other light pairs, see the best white CS2 gloves.

  • Sport Gloves | Omega, Field-Tested $231.15, from the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case. Black Sport Gloves with a gold triangle pattern and yellow lines. The cheapest way to get a Sport Gloves pair that looks expensive.

$300 to $1,000: Vice and the Other Sport Gloves

Above $300 the best pairs are mostly Sport Gloves, the model of the most expensive gloves in the game. Here the price of Field-Tested is still reasonable, while Factory New moves into thousands of dollars.

03Sport Gloves | Vice

Sport Gloves | Vice

Wear we would buy
Field-Tested
Price on Oct 26
$529.64
From today
$339.61

The glove most players picture when they think of an expensive pair. Pink and cyan on the Sport Gloves model, from the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case. Both colours stay clearly visible in Field-Tested, and Field-Tested at $529.64 costs a sixteenth of Factory New at $8,491.75. That is the biggest difference between those two wears of any glove on SkinsMonkey, which makes Field-Tested Vice the best value among the famous gloves.

  • Sport Gloves | Amphibious, Field-Tested $391.26, from the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case. Blue Sport Gloves with a white pattern that looks like water. The best blue Sport Gloves for less than Vice.
  • Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard, Field-Tested $347.58, from the Operation Broken Fang Case, the Snakebite Case and the Recoil Case. White leather with a grey leopard print. A good pair for a white or grey loadout.
  • Sport Gloves | Slingshot, Field-Tested $436.69, from the same three cases. Red Sport Gloves with lighter red panels. The best red pair under $1,000.
  • Specialist Gloves | Emerald Web, Well-Worn $799.56, from the Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case. Bright green with a dark web pattern. On this 2016 pair Field-Tested costs $1,670.69, so Well-Worn is the wear to buy. For more green pairs, see the best green CS2 gloves.

Above $1,000: The Gloves Collectors Want

Above $1,000 you are buying one of the gloves that collectors have wanted since 2016. Most of these pairs come from the Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case, and few of them are listed at any time. Our list of the most expensive gloves in CS2 ranks them by Factory New price.

04Specialist Gloves | Crimson Kimono

Specialist Gloves | Crimson Kimono

Wear we would buy
Field-Tested
Price on Oct 26
$2,135.12
From today
$1,656.65

The best expensive glove for a player who wants to use it. A red diamond pattern on black fabric, from the Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case. Red and black is one of the easiest colour pairs to match with a knife, and the pattern stays clearly visible in Field-Tested at $2,135.12. That is about a sixth of the Factory New price, $13,234.35. On 26 October SkinsMonkey listed three pairs, so check what is available before you plan a trade.

  • Sport Gloves | Hedge Maze, Field-Tested $5,003.85, from the same two cases. Lime green and pale yellow. The most expensive glove in Factory New, but Field-Tested costs less than a tenth of that.
  • Sport Gloves | Ultra Violent, Field-Tested $1,138.87, from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. Purple Sport Gloves with cyan fingers and yellow lines. The best of the 2026 gloves above $1,000, close in style to Pandora’s Box for about a quarter of the price.
  • Moto Gloves | Spearmint, Well-Worn $1,245.28, from the Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case. White Moto Gloves with mint and teal blocks. Field-Tested costs $2,226.89, so Well-Worn saves almost $1,000.

Which Gloves Look Best in First Person

In first person you see the back of the hand and the fingers, so the best gloves are the ones whose colour covers that part. Price does not decide this. A $185 pair can look better on screen than a $2,000 pair if the design is in the right place. This is our order across all four price levels.

Field-Tested or Well-Worn: Where the Wear Changes the Price

On most gloves released since 2018, Field-Tested costs only a little more than Well-Worn, so Field-Tested is the better buy. Most of the 2016 gloves from the Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case are different. On 19 of those 24 pairs Field-Tested costs at least 80% of the Minimal Wear price, and Well-Worn costs a fraction of both. Driver Gloves | Lunar Weave is the clearest example: Field-Tested costs $928.28, Minimal Wear $929.20, and Well-Worn only $185.55.

The exceptions are four of the most expensive 2016 pairs, Hedge Maze, Pandora’s Box, Crimson Kimono and Superconductor, where Field-Tested costs only about 10% to 25% more than Well-Worn, so Field-Tested is worth buying. For the other 2016 gloves, Spearmint included, look at Well-Worn first. Check the float and inspect the pair before you trade, because a low Well-Worn float can look close to Field-Tested on fabric finishes.

How to Get the Gloves You Want

Cases and trade-ups give you gloves, but not the pair you chose. Gloves are the rare special item in a case, and Valve’s published odds put that slot at 0.26% per case. Since 22 October 2025 you can trade up five Covert skins into gloves from the collection of one of the skins you put in, but the finish is random. Our guide to trade-up contracts explains how the collection rule works.

To get a specific pair in a specific wear, trading is the practical way. On SkinsMonkey you log in through Steam, add skins from your inventory, pick the gloves and the bot sends the trade offer. You can see the float of every pair before you trade, which matters more on gloves than on any weapon skin. If you want to know what your inventory is worth first, our CS2 Inventory Value Checker shows it in about a minute. For a knife to go with your gloves, see the best CS2 knives and our knife and glove combos for every budget.

Our pick at each price level

Bottom line

King Snake for most players, Vice if you can spend $500

For most inventories the best gloves in CS2 are Driver Gloves | King Snake in Field-Tested, at $184.79 on 26 October 2026. White and grey snakeskin goes with almost every knife and hides light wear. Under $100, Broken Fang Gloves | Jade at $92.10 is the best-looking pair.

If you can spend more, Sport Gloves | Vice in Field-Tested at $529.64 is the best value among the famous gloves, at a sixteenth of the Factory New price. Above $1,000 we would buy Specialist Gloves | Crimson Kimono in Field-Tested. On most other 2016 gloves, look at Well-Worn first: there Field-Tested often costs almost as much as Minimal Wear.
