This list covers the cheapest gloves in CS2: 22 pairs under $100 with their SkinsMonkey prices on 26 October 2026 and the wear we would buy for each. The cheapest pair, Hydra Gloves | Mangrove, costs $39.21. Out of all CS2 gloves, 28 of the 94 finishes start under $100, and five start under $50.
The most useful thing to know before you buy a cheap pair is how little the wear changes the price. On most gloves released since 2018, Battle-Scarred, Well-Worn and Field-Tested cost almost the same, and on the cheapest pairs the difference is a few cents. You can usually buy Field-Tested for the price of Battle-Scarred. The sections below go up in price and name the pair we would pick in each.
How We Picked the Cheapest CS2 Gloves
Cheapest here means the lowest price you can pay for the finish, which is almost always Battle-Scarred. Each section below is a price range by that number. Inside each section we name the pair we would buy and the wear we would buy it in, because the cheapest wear is not always the best value. Prices are SkinsMonkey prices checked on 26 October 2026, normal pairs only, and they change with the market.
Every glove type has a cheapest finish, and the difference between types is large. Hydra and Driver Gloves start under $40, while the cheapest Sport Gloves cost more than twice that. If you want a specific glove model, the table shows where each one starts.

Under $45: The Cheapest Gloves in CS2
Three pairs cost less than $40, and the difference between them is 31 cents. All three come from the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case, which drop the same set of gloves. The Clutch Case came out in 2018 and the Revolution Case in 2023, so these gloves have been dropping for years and many pairs are on the market. On all of them, Field-Tested costs seven to nine cents more than Battle-Scarred.
Driver Gloves | Racing Green
- Wear we would buy
- Field-Tested
- Price on Oct 26
- $39.60
- From today
- $40.61
Our pick from the cheapest gloves in the game. Dark green leather Driver Gloves with a textured panel on the back of the hand and black fingers. It looks like a real pair of leather gloves, which most cheap finishes do not, and dark green goes with almost any knife. SkinsMonkey listed 130 pairs on 26 October, more than any other glove finish, so you can choose the float you want. Field-Tested costs $39.60, eight cents more than Battle-Scarred. Minimal Wear costs $52.45 if you want a cleaner pair, and Factory New jumps to $365.75.
- Hydra Gloves | Mangrove, $39.21 to $179.06, from the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case. The cheapest gloves in CS2. Olive and brown Hydra Gloves with a snakeskin texture and a metal snake emblem on the back. Field-Tested costs $39.29, so there is no reason to buy a worse wear.
- Hydra Gloves | Rattler, $39.39 to $204.28, from the same two cases. The same Hydra model in lighter tan and grey snakeskin. It is the lighter of the two, so it shows dirt more, but at this price Field-Tested is still the wear to buy.
- Hydra Gloves | Emerald, $44.80 to $413.03, from the same two cases. Dark grey Hydra Gloves with a green detail at the cuff. Darker than Mangrove and Rattler, so it matches black and dark green knives better.

Driver Gloves | Overtake
- Wear we would buy
- Field-Tested
- Price on Oct 26
- $58.85
- From today
- $54.68
Dark brown Driver Gloves with a yellow and orange woven panel on the back of the hand and a yellow palm. The yellow is bright enough to notice in every round, and it matches yellow and brown knives well. Battle-Scarred costs $54.62, and Field-Tested costs $58.85. That is the biggest step between those two wears in this section, but the woven panel looks much better in Field-Tested, so we would pay it.
- Moto Gloves | Transport, $47.44 to $350.18, from the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case. The cheapest Moto Gloves. Yellow and tan leather in almost one colour, so it is easy to match with a knife.
- Hand Wraps | Arboreal, $50.78 to $262.49, from the same two cases. The cheapest Hand Wraps: green and brown camo cloth. It works with camo knives and a green loadout.

Moto Gloves | Turtle
- Wear we would buy
- Field-Tested
- Price on Oct 26
- $78.53
- From today
- $67.33
Bright green Moto Gloves with dark grey padding and a small orange detail. It is the cheapest bright green pair, and it works with a green loadout or a green knife. Field-Tested costs $78.53 and Battle-Scarred $67.76. Wear is easy to see on a bright colour, so Field-Tested is worth the extra ten dollars here.
- Broken Fang Gloves | Yellow-banded, $61.72 to $510.62, from the Operation Broken Fang Case, the Snakebite Case and the Recoil Case. Black and yellow spots on the Broken Fang model. A good match for yellow and black knives.
- Driver Gloves | Queen Jaguar, $64.52 to $657.87, from the same three cases. A jaguar print in yellow and brown on Driver Gloves. An animal print, like Giraffe in the section above.
- Driver Gloves | Rezan the Red, $76.30 to $842.38, from the same three cases. Dark red leather with a gold woven panel. The cheapest red Driver Gloves and a good choice for a red loadout.
- Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged, $68.21 to $433.74, from the Operation Broken Fang Case, the Snakebite Case and the Recoil Case. Black and grey with silver details. The most neutral pair in this range, and Field-Tested costs about a dollar more than Battle-Scarred.
- Moto Gloves | Finish Line, $71.23 to $575.45, from the Operation Broken Fang Case, the Snakebite Case and the Recoil Case. Black and white checks with lime green lines. White shows wear, so this is a pair to buy in Field-Tested or better.

Which Cheap Gloves Look Best in Game
In first person you see the back of the hand and the fingers, so a cheap pair looks good when the colour covers that part. Many cheap gloves are camo or dark leather, which match well but are hard to notice. These five are the cheap pairs we think look best on screen.

Does Wear Matter on Cheap Gloves
Less than most players expect. On the cheapest pairs, Battle-Scarred, Well-Worn and Field-Tested cost almost exactly the same: Hydra Gloves | Mangrove costs $39.21 in Battle-Scarred and $39.29 in Field-Tested. Field-Tested looks much better, so it is the wear to buy. Minimal Wear costs more, and Factory New is several times the price, because glove floats start at 0.06 and Factory New ends at 0.07, so very few Factory New pairs exist.
There are two exceptions. On some finishes, such as Hand Wraps | Overprint, the prices of the three cheaper wears are further apart, and Battle-Scarred saves real money. On the 2016 gloves from the Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case, Field-Tested often costs twice as much as Well-Worn.

How to Get Cheap CS2 Gloves
Opening cases is the most expensive way to get a cheap pair. Gloves are the rare special item in a case, and Valve’s published odds put that slot at 0.26% per case, so most players will spend far more on keys than a $40 pair costs. Since 22 October 2025 you can trade up five Covert skins into gloves from the collection of one of those skins, as our look at the trade-up update one year later explains, but you cannot choose which pair you get.
The Steam Community Market is a reasonable option at these prices, but Valve takes a fee from every sale and the money stays in your Steam Wallet. Trading is the faster way to get a specific pair. On SkinsMonkey you log in through Steam, add skins from your inventory, pick the gloves and the bot sends the trade offer. You can see the float of each pair before you trade, which is how you get a clean Field-Tested pair for the Battle-Scarred price. If you are not sure what your skins are worth, our CS2 Inventory Value Checker shows it in about a minute. To build the rest of a cheap loadout, see the cheapest CS2 knives and the cheapest CS2 skins.
Our pick in each price range
Bottom line
Racing Green for under $40, Bronze Morph for the Sport Gloves model
The cheapest gloves in CS2 are Hydra Gloves | Mangrove at $39.21 on 26 October 2026. Our pick at that price is Driver Gloves | Racing Green in Field-Tested at $39.60: dark green leather that looks like a real pair of gloves, and only eight cents more than Battle-Scarred.
If you want a specific glove model, Sport Gloves | Bronze Morph is the cheapest Sport Gloves at $91.72, and Specialist Gloves | Buckshot the cheapest Specialist Gloves at $53.81. On almost every cheap pair, buy Field-Tested. The exceptions are a few finishes such as Hand Wraps | Overprint and the 2016 gloves, where Battle-Scarred or Well-Worn save real money.
