The P90 is one of the most famous submachine guns skins available in the Counter Strike series. It was modeled after the FN P90, a compact personal defense weapon, manufactured by the famous FN Herstal. The Belgian company designed the gun at the request of NATO, as they were looking for a replacement for the 9×19mm Parabellum firearms. In CS2(CS:GO), both Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists can obtain the P90.

The P90 in Combat

The P90 is one of the most popular weapons among CS beginners (and bots). It’s good for spraying bullets, due to its fast fire rate of 857 RPM and a high-capacity magazine of 50 rounds. People also love the P90, because of its low recoil and sufficient accuracy. It is a great weapon for mid-range combat. Unfortunately, it also has its downsides. Players often complain about the low damage the P90 is able to inflict. This is a problem because, in some installments of the game, this SMG cannot even score an instant kill with a headshot. On top of that, there is also the fact that it has a relatively long reload time of 3,3s.

Cosmetic Skins

The P90 is the most expensive submachine gun in CS2(CS:GO). It is safe to assume that if a player invests in it, he or she will want to show it off. This is what CS2(CS:GO) skins are best for, and fortunately, the range of P90 skins available on the Steam Market is substantial. Most of them come at very affordable prices, which make up for the price of the weapon itself. The cheapest skin is the Sand Spray, as it costs a mere few cents. In contrast, the most expensive option is the Astral Jörmungandr from the Norse collection. Its price usually doesn’t drop below $130.
