On November 2, 2026 the cheapest Karambit in CS2 was the Karambit | Safari Mesh in Battle-Scarred, at $496.19 on SkinsMonkey. It is the only Karambit you could buy for less than $500 that day, and its Field-Tested copy cost $499.73. This post lists the cheapest price of every finish out of all Karambit skins, the wear we would buy for each one, and which finishes never get cheap. Of the 25 Karambit finishes, 6 started under $600 and 18 under $1,000.
The Karambit is a curved blade with a finger ring at the end of the handle, and it is one of the most wanted knives in CS2, so even its cheapest finish costs close to $500. The good news for a buyer is that on the cheap camo finishes the wears cost almost the same. A Field-Tested Karambit often costs only a few dollars more than a Battle-Scarred one, so check every wear before you trade. The sections below go up in price and name the finish we would pick in each.
How We Picked the Cheapest Karambit Skins
For this list, the price of a finish is the lowest price you can pay for it in any wear. Each section below is a price range by that number. Inside each section we name the copy we would buy and the wear we would buy it in, because the cheapest wear is not always the best value. Prices are SkinsMonkey prices checked on November 2, 2026, for normal copies only (no StatTrak), and they change with the market.
The Karambit comes from three groups of cases, and each group has its own cheapest finish. The original finishes come from 11 older cases, from the CS:GO Weapon Case to the Revolver Case, and they are the cheapest. The Gamma finishes from the Gamma Case and Gamma 2 Case start about $100 higher, and the Chroma finishes from the three Chroma cases start about $20 above the Gamma ones.

Under $600: The Cheapest Karambits in CS2
Six finishes start under $600. Five of them are original finishes, four of them camo, and the first three cost within about $8 of each other. The sixth, Bright Water, is the cheapest Gamma finish. On most of them Battle-Scarred is the cheapest wear, but Field-Tested costs only a little more.
Karambit | Urban Masked
- Wear we would buy
- Field-Tested
- Price on Nov 2

- From today
- $344.76
Our pick from the cheapest Karambits. Grey and white urban camo that looks clean on the curved blade and goes with almost any loadout. It costs about $66 more than Safari Mesh, and we think the lighter colour is worth it, because you see the whole blade every time you draw or inspect the knife. Field-Tested costs $562.50 and Well-Worn $561.93, only about $12 more than Battle-Scarred at $550.03. SkinsMonkey listed 16 copies on November 2, 2026.
- Karambit | Safari Mesh, from $496.19 (Battle-Scarred). The cheapest Karambit in CS2. Tan and grey mesh camo. Field-Tested costs $499.73, so a better wear costs less than $4 more. Minimal Wear costs $542.90, the cheapest Minimal Wear Karambit on November 2, 2026.
- Karambit | Boreal Forest, from $503.91 (Well-Worn). Dark green and grey forest camo, the darkest of the cheap camos. Well-Worn is cheaper here than Battle-Scarred at $517.79.
- Karambit | Forest DDPAT, from $504.27 (Battle-Scarred). Green, brown and black digital camo. Field-Tested costs $506.01, and Minimal Wear only $558.46. SkinsMonkey had no Factory New copy listed on November 2, 2026.

$600 to $700: Night, Lore and the Cheapest Chroma Finish
This range has the most choice for the price. You get two more original finishes, the cheapest Chroma finishes and two Gamma finishes, and some of them look far more expensive than they are.
Karambit | Night
- Wear we would buy
- Well-Worn
- Price on Nov 2
- $624.20
- From today
- $415.45
A dark blue-grey blade with almost no pattern, so wear is hard to see and the knife looks clean even when it is worn. On November 2, 2026 Well-Worn at $624.20 was the cheapest wear, cheaper than Battle-Scarred at $637.98, so there is no reason to buy the most worn copy. Field-Tested costs $667.20 if you want a cleaner blade. Only 7 copies were listed, so the price can move quickly.
- Karambit | Ultraviolet, from $615.93 (Battle-Scarred). The cheapest Chroma finish on the Karambit. Deep purple that turns almost black in shadow. Well-Worn costs $639.11 and Field-Tested $661.01.
- Karambit | Rust Coat, from $619.65 (Battle-Scarred). Rust over a dark blade. It only comes in Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, and Well-Worn costs $657.12.

Above $700 you can buy the best-known original finishes in worn condition. On most finishes in this range the worn copies cost close to each other, so the choice is about colour more than float.

- Karambit | Damascus Steel, from $791.10 (Battle-Scarred). Grey steel with wave lines from the Chroma cases. Battle-Scarred, Well-Worn and Field-Tested all cost within $2 of each other, so take Field-Tested at $792.68.

Tiger Tooth, Vanilla and the Finishes That Never Get Cheap
Some Karambits have no cheap version at all. Tiger Tooth, Marble Fade, Fade and the Doppler finishes only come in Factory New and Minimal Wear, and Slaughter only goes down to Field-Tested, so their cheapest copy still costs more than $1,100. For the top of the price list, see our post on the most expensive Karambit skins.
Karambit | Tiger Tooth
- Wear
- Minimal Wear
- Price on Nov 2
- $1,129.38
- From today

Only 3 copies were listed, so check the price before you plan a trade around it. For about $1,130 you get a Karambit that looks clean in every round, with no worn copy to avoid.
- Karambit | Slaughter, from $1,189.69 in Field-Tested. Red and pink marbling, and no copy below Field-Tested.

The Cheapest Doppler and Gamma Doppler Karambit
On the WIKI each Doppler phase is a separate item with its own price, so we compare phase with phase here. Ruby, Sapphire, Black Pearl and the Gamma Doppler Emerald are also separate items, and they cost several times more than any normal phase.
The cheapest Doppler Karambit on November 2, 2026 was Karambit | Doppler Phase 3 in Minimal Wear, at $1,662.41. Karambit | Doppler Phase 1 started at $1,689.78, but with a single listing, and Karambit | Doppler Phase 4 at $1,713.69. On the Karambit the normal Doppler is cheaper than the Gamma Doppler: the cheapest Gamma phase, Karambit | Gamma Doppler Phase 4, started at $2,126.12, and Karambit | Gamma Doppler Phase 3 at $2,130.42. Each phase had only a few copies listed, so these are prices of single listings more than a stable market price.

Which Cheap Karambits Look Best in Game
The Karambit shows its whole curved blade on every draw and inspect, so a cheap finish looks good when the blade has a clear colour. Many cheap Karambits are camo, which matches any loadout but is hard to notice. These five are the cheap copies we think look best on screen.

Does Wear Matter on Cheap Karambits
Less than most players expect. On the cheap camo finishes the most worn copy is usually the cheapest, but only by a few dollars: Safari Mesh costs $496.19 in Battle-Scarred and $499.73 in Field-Tested, and Damascus Steel costs $791.10 and $792.68. On Boreal Forest, Night and Blue Steel, Well-Worn was even cheaper than Battle-Scarred. Field-Tested looks much better, so on these finishes it is the wear to buy. Our guide to CS2 wear levels explains what each wear looks like.
The exceptions are the finishes with a big jump at the top. On Crimson Web, Night and Ultraviolet, very few clean copies exist, and Factory New costs from about 5 to more than 25 times the cheapest wear. On those, buy the wear you can afford, and expect Minimal Wear to cost much more than Field-Tested. The same is true for Case Hardened, where the pattern matters more than the wear; our guide to Case Hardened skins explains why.

How to Get a Cheap Karambit
Knives drop as the rare special item in cases, and the case odds that Perfect World, the partner of Valve in China, published in 2017 work out to about 0.26% per case for that slot. The Karambit is in 16 cases: 11 original cases, the three Chroma cases and the two Gamma cases, and the finish you get is random. Since October 22, 2025 you can also trade up five Covert skins into a knife or gloves. Neither route lets you choose the finish or the wear. Our list of all Karambit cases shows what each case holds.
Trading is the direct way to get a specific Karambit in a specific wear. On SkinsMonkey you log in through Steam, add skins from your inventory, pick the knife and the bot sends the trade offer, and you can check the float of each copy first. If you want to know what your inventory is worth before you trade, our CS2 Inventory Value Checker shows it in about a minute. For our picks by looks at every budget, see the best Karambit skins.
Our pick from each price range

For about $66 more than Safari Mesh, Urban Masked in Field-Tested at $562.50 has a lighter colour that you can see on every inspect.
