The R8 Revolver is an 8 shot revolver available in Counter Strike 2 and Global Offensive. It was introduced along with the 2015 Winter Update. The real-life inspiration for it is the Performance Center MODEL 327 TRR8 manufactured by Smith & Wesson, which is one of the leading firearms manufacturers in the US. In CSGO, the R9 revolver is available to both Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists. It can be switched out for the Desert Eagle.
The R8 Revolver in Combat
The R8 is an 8 shot revolver, which means that it has a magazine capacity of mere 8 rounds, and a reserve of only one cylinder worth of ammo. In addition, the gun offers a unique feature in that it provides two attack modes, primary and secondary. Their fire rate amounts to 85 RPM and 150 RPM, respectively. The main advantages of the R8 revolver include the extremely high damage it inflicts, as well as its armor penetration power of 93.2%. With this highly accurate revolver, it only takes one headshot to make a kill, regardless of the armor the opponent is wearing.

The R8 revolver is well known in CS2(CS:GO) skins because it “ delivers a very accurate and powerful round” with which it is easy to take down opponents. The gun is very popular and therefore, there is a wide range of R8 skins available in the game, both in terms of price and design.
