The answer is no, it is not normal! If you receive a second offer do not accept it! Read this article about API Scams and secure your Steam account.
It is not normal! Our bots do not cancel trades. If you see that you have two trade offers on Steam and the first one is canceled, you can be almost certain that you are a victim of an API scam.
After you initiate a trade on SkinsMonkey we display the information about our bot, which will trade with you. Checking the level and service badge in the Mobile App is the only way to be 100% sure you are trading with us.
"Accept" buttons redirect to Steam where you can accept the trade offer. These are the only way you should check your offers.
When you or a scammer logged on your account decline the trade on Steam, we display a pop-up informing about it.
Please answer the questions displayed in pop-ups to learn more about what is happening.
If you did not reject the offer and did not confirm it on your phone, do not do that now! Secure your Steam account to block the scammers from accessing your account.
If you did not reject the offer, and confirmed it on your phone, you probably already gave your items to the scammers. You have to immediately secure your account to prevent situations like this in the future. To do this please follow instructions from the pop-up or read more here.
On Steam over the canceled trade offer you might see that there is another one, that looks almost identical.
The second trade offer is not a trade offer from our bot. Even though you may see that it is sent from the "same bot," in fact, it is a trade offer sent from a scammer. At first glance, the accounts sending you both trades look identical. However, if you check the bot's Steam profile, you will see that it is not a SkinsMonkey bot.
After you accept the trade offer from a scammer, you will see that on SkinsMonkey in the "Transactions" tab, your transaction has the status "Declined", even if your items are not in your Steam inventory.
At this point, you can be sure that you are a victim of an API scam. If it happened to you, please secure your Steam account!
Unfortunately, we cannot help you after an API scam and we can neither give your items back, as we do not have them, nor replenish your balance.
