CS2 Chicken Photo Booth: Gloves and Agents for All 34 Chicken Colors

Since the October 2 update, the agent in the CS2 pet photo booth wears your equipped gloves. That turns every HatchBook photo into a small loadout shot: your chicken in front, your agent and your gloves next to it. We rendered all 34 chicken colors from the game files and matched each one with two pairs of gloves, one budget pair and one with no price limit, plus an agent that fits the colors. Prices below come from the SkinsMonkey WIKI and update live. When you have a pair in mind, you can trade CS2 skins on SkinsMonkey.

How the Photo Booth Shows Your Agent and Gloves

The photo booth poses your chicken with a T or CT agent. Valve’s patch on October 2, 2026 added one line that matters here: “Agents now wear their equipped gloves during the photobooth photography sessions and in buy menu.” Before that, the agent in the booth wore default gloves no matter what you owned.

Several of the eleven poses put the agent’s hands right next to the bird, and which ones you can use depends on the age of your chicken:

• Chick: “Bird in Hand” and “Protect”, where the agent holds the chick.
• Pullet: “Big Hug” opens up.
• Hen: “Shoulder” and “Hawk”, with the grown bird on the agent’s arm.

Photos go into your HatchBook and the photo library, and the game has a button to copy any of them to your clipboard. The booth also has 11 backgrounds, 10 hats, 9 effects and 8 filters, all listed in our guide to every chicken breed and color.

How We Matched Gloves and Agents to Each Color

Every chick is yellow, and breed and color only show up when it grows into a pullet, 22 days after hatching. So find your color first, then pick the look. For each of the 34 colors we chose:

• Budget gloves: a pair whose cheapest wear started under $110 on SkinsMonkey on 30 October 2026.
• No-limit gloves: the pair we think fits the bird best, whatever it costs.
• Agent: a T or CT agent whose clothes or mask pick up the same colors. Agents are much cheaper than gloves: the ones in this list start between about $8 and $98.

No glove or agent appears twice, so you can also use the list as a catalog of color matches. The “from” price is the cheapest wear on SkinsMonkey today. Gloves look different in each wear, so check the item page before you trade.

The pictures are our own: the chicken is an adult hen rendered from the game files, the agent is at the top right, the budget gloves are at the bottom left and the no-limit gloves at the bottom right.

Catalana: 13 Colors

The Catalana is the classic farmyard shape: a long tail, a red comb and smooth feathers. Its 13 colors are the most varied of the three breeds, from plain tan and grey to green, yellow and blue on one bird.

Catalana, Tan (default)

The default Catalana is all warm brown, so earthy gloves fit best. Arboreal is olive and tan camo, Leather is plain brown wraps, and Trapper Aggressor wears a tan shemagh that matches the bird.

Catalana, Black White Head

White is hard to match without washing the picture out. Lt. Commander is pale grey with blue trim, Cloud Chaser is white with light blue lines, and the white skull mask of Sir Bloody Skullhead Darryl repeats the bird’s color.

Silkie: 9 Colors

The Silkie is the round, fluffy one. Its fur-like feathers spread color over a big soft shape, so it fills more of the photo than the other breeds, and the gloves next to it should be just as bold.

Silkie, White (default)

Purple and gold stripes, whatever the name says. Bronze Morph is bronze and gold, Tiger Strike has stripes like the feathers, and Safecracker Voltzmann has purple hair to pick up the purple stripes.

Tips for a Better HatchBook Photo

• Wait for the pullet. Buying gloves for a chick is a guess, since every chick is the same yellow. Pick the look once the color shows.
• Plan for the hen. “Shoulder” and “Hawk” only work with a grown hen, and they show the agent’s arm and gloves the most.
• Match the background. Studio and Picnic are open from the start, and map backgrounds unlock after a match on that map with an older pet. A dark map like Nuke suits black and grey birds, a bright one like Mirage suits orange and yellow ones.
• Your gloves show in the buy menu too. The same update put your gloves on the agent in the buy menu, so a pair you buy for the photo also shows up at the start of every round.

Find your color first, then buy the gloves

Every chick is yellow, so wait until your chicken is a pullet before you buy anything for the photo booth. After that, a matching look can be cheap: most budget pairs in this list start between about $40 and $110, and the agents start around $8, with SkinsMonkey prices from 30 October 2026.

If you only buy one thing, buy the gloves. The agent is half of the picture, but since the October 2 update the gloves also show up in the buy menu every round.
