Best Desert Eagle skins in CS2

TL;DR

The best Desert Eagle skin in CS2 depends on your budget. Our picks for looks are the Desert Eagle | Heat Treated under $5, the Printstream from $5 to $50, the Code Red from $50 to $300 and the Blaze above $300. We judged each Deagle skin by how its finish shows on the slide in first person and which wear is worth the money, using SkinsMonkey prices from October 23, 2026.

On this page

The best Deagle skin depends on what you want to spend, so we split our picks into four budgets and chose the skins that look best on the slide in first person within each one. Our WIKI lists all Desert Eagle skins with live prices, 45 of them; this post is the short list, with the wear we would buy on each and the wears we would skip.

The Desert Eagle is the pistol you buy when one headshot has to be enough. At $700 it is the most expensive pistol in the buy menu, and it still kills a player wearing a helmet with a single headshot at long range, which is why it shows up on force buys when a rifle is out of reach. Every skin below can be traded for with the skins you already own on SkinsMonkey.

How We Picked These Deagle Skins

Our picks for looks within each budget, prices from SkinsMonkey on October 23, 2026. A skin sits in the bracket of its From price, the cheapest wear we list. The brackets are under $5, $5 to $50, $50 to $300 and above $300. The brackets sit lower than in our best AWP skins list, because Deagle skins are cheaper across the board. Inside each one we chose the skins that look best in your hands and named one top pick.

The tables show the wear we would buy and what it cost on October 23, next to live From and Up to prices for every wear. The cheapest wear is often the wrong one. A Battle-Scarred Desert Eagle | Code Red started at $56.19 and a Factory New one at $249.89, and the worn copy has scratches all over the red slide. Float, StatTrak and stickers can move the price further within the same wear. All prices on this page are for non-StatTrak, non-Souvenir copies.

Our video shows every Desert Eagle skin in game, starting with the newest, the Eastern Enigma, and working back to the 2013 originals, with the price range on screen and no commentary after a short intro. Watch it if you want to see a finish move before you trade for it.

Under $5: Heat Treated, Light Rail and Deagles That Do Not Look Cheap

Under $5 you are buying mostly older case and collection skins, plus the Heat Treated from the Armory. Most of them cost a dollar or two more in Minimal Wear than in Battle-Scarred, and several Deagles cost less than $2 in Factory New, so there is little reason to play a scratched copy.

01Desert Eagle | Heat Treated

Desert Eagle | Heat Treated

Wear we would buy
Field-Tested
Price on Oct 23
$1.46

$1.39

Our top pick under $5. A Case Hardened style finish in blue, purple and gold over bare steel, and the pattern index decides how much of the slide turns blue. It arrived as a Limited Edition item with the Armory update in October 2024. Field-Tested cost $1.46 on October 23 and Minimal Wear $3.35, while Factory New jumped to $45.25. On this skin the pattern matters more than the float, because a copy with a mostly blue slide costs far more in any wear. Our Desert Eagle Heat Treated blue gem guide lists the patterns people pay for.

Five more under $5:

  • Desert Eagle | Light Rail: gloss black with a gold muzzle end and white ribs at the back of the slide, from the Prisma Case (2019). The gloss catches the light every time the slide cycles. Minimal Wear cost $3.29, Field-Tested $1.54.
  • Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline: a pink and red slide broken up by black and white pixel diamonds over a black frame, from the Snakebite Case (2021). The pattern sits on the part of the slide you look at all round. Minimal Wear, $2.47.
  • Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike: red and orange snakeskin on the slide and a coiled snake on the grip, from the Fever Case of March 2025. Factory New cost $1.96, so buy the clean one.
  • Desert Eagle | Mulberry: one solid coat of deep berry paint with a grey grip, from the Radiant Collection added in March 2025. Plain paint shows every scratch, so we would pay for Minimal Wear at $8.50; Field-Tested was $2.70.
  • Desert Eagle | Firebreathing: lilac with pink and blue flame swirls, from the Dead Hand Collection added in 2026 and one of the few purple Deagles. Minimal Wear, $2.54.

$5 to $50: Printstream, Kumicho Dragon and the Case Classics

From $5 up the list gets more interesting. The Printstream is the only Covert here; the rest are case skins and a few collection skins that never came in a case. In this range the wear you pick often changes the price more than the skin you pick.

02Desert Eagle | Printstream

Desert Eagle | Printstream

Wear we would buy
Field-Tested
Price on Oct 23
$47.61
From today
$45.91

Our top pick from $5 to $50. A pearlescent white slide with black XX marks, a barcode and small print blocks, over a black frame, from the Fracture Case (2020). It reads clean in first person against almost every map. The white is also where wear shows first, so Field-Tested at $47.61 is the lowest we would go; Minimal Wear was $63.07 and Factory New $94.27. Battle-Scarred at $45.95 saves you less than $2. Our Fracture Case guide has the rest of that case.

Six more we like in this range:

  • Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon: a white dragon engraved along a dark steel slide and a purple grip, from the Operation Wildfire Case (2016). Battle-Scarred, Well-Worn and Field-Tested all cost between $21 and $23, so take Field-Tested at $22.87.
  • Desert Eagle | Mecha Industries: a white slide with a red stripe and grey and orange panels, from the Danger Zone Case (2018). White means scratches show; Minimal Wear at $10.79 is $3.71 more than Field-Tested and worth it.
  • Desert Eagle | Conspiracy: matte black with a gold ring around the muzzle, a thin gold line and a gold emblem on the grip, from the Operation Breakout Weapon Case (2014). It only exists in Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested, and Minimal Wear cost $26.83, three cents more than Field-Tested.
  • Desert Eagle | Crimson Web: a black spider web over red, the pistol version of the famous knife finish, from the eSports 2014 Summer Case. Field-Tested at $13.44 is the buy. Minimal Wear was $42.39 and Factory New $195.38, because the float starts at 0.06 and clean copies are rare.
  • Desert Eagle | Eastern Enigma: chrome and white with blue and purple arabesque linework, from the Arabesque Collection of July 2026, the newest Deagle on our WIKI. Field-Tested cost $22.20 and Minimal Wear $45.82, so start with Field-Tested and check the float.
  • Desert Eagle | Night Heist: dark navy with thin pink line art, from the Havoc Collection of Operation Broken Fang (2020). Every wear from Battle-Scarred to Minimal Wear cost between $27.81 and $27.88, which makes Minimal Wear the easy call.

$50 to $300: Code Red, Ocean Drive and the 2013 Originals

Past $50 you pay for Covert case skins and for the first Deagles ever released. Three of the 2013 skins here, the Hypnotic, Golden Koi and Cobalt Disruption, have capped float ranges and no Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred at all, so the cheapest copy still looks close to new.

03Desert Eagle | Code Red

Desert Eagle | Code Red

Wear we would buy
Field-Tested
Price on Oct 23
$58.47
From today
$56.47

Our top pick from $50 to $300. Red and silver panels along the slide with lettering in the red, a black grip and a red base plate, from the Horizon Case (2018). The red covers the part of the slide you see every round. Field-Tested cost $58.47 on October 23 and Minimal Wear $72.24; Factory New jumps to $249.89, a lot to pay for slightly cleaner silver. If you are building around it, our red CS2 loadout has the rest of the guns.

Five more picks in this bracket:

  • Desert Eagle | Ocean Drive: purple, orange and teal geometric shapes in a retro arcade style, from the Operation Riptide Case (2021). The loudest Deagle in this post. Field-Tested cost $85.36 and Minimal Wear $95.38; Factory New was $303.35.
  • Desert Eagle | Cobalt Disruption: blue digital camo from the eSports 2013 Winter Case. The float stops at 0.20, so Field-Tested is the worst wear that exists, and Minimal Wear cost nine cents more at $96.76.
  • Desert Eagle | Hypnotic: black swirl rings over a silver slide and grip, from the original CS:GO Weapon Case of the Arms Deal update in August 2013. Only Factory New and Minimal Wear exist and they cost within a dollar of each other, so take Factory New at $212.25.
  • Desert Eagle | Golden Koi: pale gold fish scales over the whole gun, a Covert from the Operation Bravo Case (2013). Only Factory New and Minimal Wear exist. Minimal Wear cost $258.49, Factory New $283.44.
  • Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox: a fox in orange and red wrapped in swirling lines, from the 2021 Mirage Collection added with Operation Riptide. Field-Tested, $227.94; Minimal Wear was $280.68.

Above $300: Blaze, Emerald Jörmungandr and the Souvenir-Only Hand Cannon

Every Deagle above $300 on our WIKI is a collection skin that never came from a weapon case, so the price at this level comes from how few copies exist.

04Desert Eagle | Blaze

Desert Eagle | Blaze

Wear we would buy
Factory New
Price on Oct 23
$866.62
From today
$837.67

Our top pick above $300, and the most expensive Deagle on our WIKI by From price. Orange and red flames run back from the muzzle over a black slide, a design that has been in the game since the Arms Deal update in August 2013 as part of the Dust Collection. The float range stops at 0.08, so only Factory New and Minimal Wear exist. Minimal Wear cost $841.71 on October 23 and Factory New $866.62, close enough that we would take Factory New.

Three more at the top:

  • Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr: the Norse world serpent in green knotwork, from the Norse Collection of Operation Shattered Web (2019). The float stops at 0.50, so there is no Battle-Scarred. Well-Worn started at $508.83 and Field-Tested at $555.89.
  • Desert Eagle | Hand Cannon: teal and dark green paint with a yellow front end, from the Cobblestone Collection, which only dropped from 2014 Souvenir packages. Field-Tested cost $547.46, and Minimal Wear and Factory New were both about $630.
  • Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 弐: red and orange waves and clouds in a Japanese print, from the Rising Sun Collection (2015). Every wear cost between $614.56 and $666.16, so Factory New is the one to buy. Its twin, the Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱, is a second version of the same print; it started at $645.74 in Field-Tested and has no page on our WIKI yet.

What Makes a Desert Eagle Skin Look Good in CS2

The slide is the skin. In first person your hand wraps the grip, and the slide and barrel fill the lower right of the screen. Skins that put their artwork on the slide, like the Kumicho Dragon engraving or the Blaze flames, show it all round. Skins whose best detail sits on the grip, like the snake on the Serpent Strike, mostly show it when you inspect.

The recoil shows the finish. The Deagle kicks hard and the slide cycles after every shot, which is the moment a glossy or chrome finish like the Light Rail or Eastern Enigma catches the light. Flat paint like the Mulberry looks the same in every frame.

Bright colors carry. The Ocean Drive and Code Red are easy to read in a teammate’s hands and on the floor after a death. Dark skins like the Conspiracy and Night Heist look plain from a distance and show their detail up close.

Stickers go where you can see them. In CS2 you can position stickers freely on the gun, and on the Deagle the flat side of the slide is the spot in view. Our best sticker crafts post has combinations that work.

Which Wear to Buy on a Desert Eagle

Field-Tested for most skins, after you check the gap. On many Deagles the step from Field-Tested to Minimal Wear costs a few dollars and the step to Factory New costs many times the skin. The Desert Eagle | Directive is the extreme case: Field-Tested cost $1.74 on October 23 and Factory New $150.25, because the float starts at 0.06 and only a thin slice of copies can be Factory New. The Desert Eagle | Heirloom shows the same jump at $9.78 against $118.69.

Go the other way where the range is flat. The Night Heist cost the same from Battle-Scarred to Minimal Wear, the Hypnotic the same in its two wears, and the Conspiracy and Cobalt Disruption the same in Minimal Wear as in Field-Tested, so take the cleaner copy. White and chrome skins like the Printstream, Mecha Industries and Eastern Enigma show grey scuffs first; stay at Field-Tested or better on those. Our guide to CS2 wear levels has the float ranges.

How to Get One: Cases, Trade-Ups or a Straight Trade

Most Deagles under $100 on this page come from weapon cases, where each one fills a single slot in its rarity tier. Opening for one specific Deagle is a long shot: the Code Red shares the Covert slot of the Horizon Case with an AK-47, and the Covert slot opens in well under one case in a hundred. Our overview of the best CS2 cases to open lists what each case holds.

A trade-up can land the Classified and Covert Deagles from cheaper skins of the same collection, and our CS2 trade-up guide walks through the odds. The collection Deagles above $300 are harder, because the inputs come from the same old collections and are scarce too.

If you want one specific Deagle in one specific wear, trading is the direct route. Check what your current skins are worth with our free CS2 Inventory Value Checker, then trade them toward the Deagle on SkinsMonkey, where trades with our bots go through instantly.

Our top pick in each budget

Bottom line

Buy the Deagle skin you like in Field-Tested, and pay for Factory New only where it costs a few dollars more.

Under $5, the Heat Treated, Light Rail and Serpent Strike all look better than their price, and the Serpent Strike is a Factory New skin for under $2. From $5 to $50, the Printstream is the pick if you can keep it at Field-Tested or better, and the Kumicho Dragon costs almost the same in its three cheapest wears.

Above $50, the Code Red is the realistic red Deagle at $58.47 in Field-Tested on October 23, while the Blaze is a different budget at $866.62 in Factory New. Skip Factory New on skins like the Directive, Crimson Web and Ocean Drive, where it costs several times Field-Tested, and spend the difference on stickers for the slide.

FAQ

What is the best Desert Eagle skin in CS2?

It depends on your budget. Our picks for looks are the Desert Eagle | Heat Treated under $5, the Printstream from $5 to $50, the Code Red from $50 to $300 and the Blaze above $300, using SkinsMonkey prices from October 23, 2026.

What is the best cheap Deagle skin?

Under $5 we would take a Field-Tested Desert Eagle | Heat Treated, which cost $1.46 on SkinsMonkey on October 23, 2026. Its Case Hardened style finish looks far more expensive than it is. The Light Rail in Minimal Wear at $3.29 and the Serpent Strike in Factory New at $1.96 are the next two we would look at.

Which wear should I buy on a Desert Eagle skin?

Field-Tested for most of them, but compare the wears first. On the Directive, Factory New cost $150.25 against $1.74 for Field-Tested on October 23, 2026, while the Night Heist cost the same from Battle-Scarred to Minimal Wear. Where the range is flat, buy the cleaner copy, and keep white or chrome skins like the Printstream at Field-Tested or better.

Why does the Desert Eagle Blaze only come in Factory New and Minimal Wear?

Because its float range stops at 0.08. Anything above 0.07 is Minimal Wear, and nothing can be worse than that. On October 23, 2026 Minimal Wear cost $841.71 and Factory New $866.62 on SkinsMonkey, so the two wears are close in price.

Is the Desert Eagle worth $700 in CS2?

Yes, if you can aim. At $700 it is the most expensive pistol in the buy menu, and one headshot kills even a player wearing a helmet at long range. It is a weak choice in the pistol round, where $700 of your $800 leaves no money for armor and the default pistols already kill players without helmets with one headshot.
