FAMAS | Contrast Spray
There’s one simple reason why FAMAS Contrast Spray is one of the worst skins in CS2 – it looks worse than the default FAMAS. The “skin” is literally just low-quality winter camo spray, except it’s blurred out. It honestly hardly looks like a skin and it feels more like your PC failed to load some CS2 textures. There’s really no justification for a weapon skin in CS2 to be that ugly, particularly with the graphics update CS2 brought to all the guns in the game. The worst part is that this skin isn’t even that cheap. For a lower price, you could purchase a Factory New version of a much better FAMAS skin.

AUG | Copperhead
Possibly the worst skin introduced in the Dust Collection, AUG Copperhead is meant to emulate the looks of a snake and its scales. Sadly, it fails to do that and instead looks like a terrible mesh of bronze and yellowish colors. Copperhead is another one of these horrible skins that don’t really introduce any significant changes to how the weapon looks, and in fact, looks worse than the default gun. AUG Copperhead is just one of those weapon skins that are pretty much useful only for trading. Worst part? The weapon skin is also absurdly expensive, often costing well over $100. At least it’s useful if you want to sell CS2 skins.

P90 | Death by Kitty
You might be surprised to find this famous skin on this list, but as much as the P90 Death by Kitty is loved by a fraction of the CS2 community, many other players would say its overly flashy and bright design is just awful. The over-the-top design makes it very difficult to identify what exactly is on the body of the gun, particularly in the fast-paced action setting of Counter-Strike 2. On top of that, it’s one of the more expensive P90 weapon skins and costs over $100.

SCAR-20 | Blueprint
Not only weird but also considered by many players to be the worst skin in CS2, the idea behind this skin is that it’s supposed to replace the gun body with a blueprint mesh, making it look like a design model. However, the skin completely fails to do that. In-game, the weapon skin just looks…blue. Any of the Blueprint features are pretty much non-visible, and the weapon skin just looks like it’s covered with blue paint in a strange hue. While SCAR-20 is not one of the most popular weapons and in many games, you won’t even have the money to purchase it, there are better skins for SCAR-20 than the Blueprint.

AK-47 | Slate
AK-47 has some of the best skins in CS2, and if you’re looking for cheap AK-47 skins, there are much better choices than AK Slate. The skin is just matte black, without any special features. Even worse, AK-47 Slate takes up a Restricted slot inside the Snakebite case, meaning that you can open this rare skin, instead of something better available in the weapon case. There really isn’t that much to say about this weapon skin. It’s just a boring black CS2 skin for the AK-47, and you can easily get much better skins for this gun for the same price.

P250 | Bone Mask
Like the rest of the skins on this list, this one also has a boring design and a price that, even at its low cost, is definitely too high for the look it offers. P250 Bone Mask follows a boring gray look, with a blurred paint job over the gun. The paint job doesn’t even look like a military camo, so the weapon skin has a boring look without even being realistic. There really isn’t a lot to say about the weapon skin. Hand Wraps | Duct Tape
Possibly the ugliest gloves skin in the game, Hand Wraps Duct Tape will make you look like a hobo in-game. This skin is literally just silver tape wrapped around your character’s hands. This skin is probably a better fit for picking through the garbage rather than shooting or defusing bombs, but if you want to stand out from other players, it can be a good choice. On the flip side, at least it’s one of the cheapest gloves skins in the game.
