Best Nomad Knife Skins in CS2 (2026)
On this page

This post lists the best Nomad Knife skins in CS2 in four price brackets, from camo finishes around $90 to the Doppler gems above $900. We went through all Nomad Knife skins on our WIKI, picked the finishes that look best on the Nomad’s wide blade, and for each one we say which wear to buy. All prices were checked on SkinsMonkey on November 1, 2026.

The Nomad is the large folding knife from Operation Shattered Web, and in every finish we compared on our WIKI it cost more than the Survival and Paracord Knife and less than the Skeleton Knife. If you want to compare it with every other knife type, our best CS2 knives list does that. Every Nomad below can be traded for with the skins you already own on SkinsMonkey.

How We Picked These Nomad Knife Skins

Our picks for appearance within each budget, prices from SkinsMonkey on November 1, 2026. A skin goes into the price bracket of its From price, the cheapest wear we list. The brackets are under $150, $150 to $300, $300 to $700 and above $700. Inside each one we judged how the finish looks on the Nomad in first person and during the inspect, used the number of listings as the tiebreaker, and named one top pick.

The tables show the wear we would buy and what it cost on November 1, next to current From and Up to prices for every wear. On some finishes the wear changes the price a lot. A Field-Tested Nomad Knife | Crimson Web cost $211.06 and a Factory New one $1,117.96, for the same red web design. Float and pattern move the price further within one wear. All prices on this page are for non-StatTrak knives.

Under $150: Night Stripe and the Cheapest Nomads

Nine finishes start below $150, more than in any other bracket. Seven are the original Shattered Web finishes, and two, Rust Coat and Ultraviolet, come from the Fever Case. On the camo finishes Battle-Scarred, Well-Worn and Field-Tested cost within about four dollars of each other, so the most worn knife saves you almost nothing.

Wear we would buy
Field-Tested
Price on Nov 1
$117.17
From today
$116.53

Our top pick under $150. Black and dark grey stripes run along the blade, and on a knife this big they look clean and deliberate where the camo finishes look busy. Field-Tested cost $117.17, only 23 cents more than Battle-Scarred, and Minimal Wear was $134.67. Drops from the Shattered Web and Fracture cases.

Five more picks in this bracket:

  • Nomad Knife | Ultraviolet: a deep purple finish that turns almost black in shadow. Field-Tested cost $147.97 and Factory New $380.60, so the clean purple costs more than twice as much.
  • Nomad Knife | Stained: a blue, brown and grey patina on the steel that is a little different on every knife. Field-Tested, $154.30, a few dollars above this bracket in that wear.
  • Nomad Knife | Urban Masked: grey and white urban camo. Field-Tested cost $126.44; Factory New was $452.90.
  • Nomad Knife | Rust Coat: corroded brown steel, and it only exists in Battle-Scarred and Well-Worn. Battle-Scarred cost $111.95 and Well-Worn $163.37.
  • Nomad Knife | Safari Mesh: tan and olive mesh, and the cheapest Nomad on our WIKI. Battle-Scarred started at $90.26 and Field-Tested at $90.44, so take Field-Tested.

$150 to $300: Marble Fade, Case Hardened and Tiger Tooth

This bracket has the most variety: three Fever Case finishes, the pattern finishes Case Hardened and Crimson Web, the vanilla knife and Slaughter. Marble Fade and Tiger Tooth only exist in Factory New and Minimal Wear, and on both the two wears cost less than $9 apart.

02Nomad Knife | Marble Fade

Nomad Knife | Marble Fade

Wear we would buy
Factory New
Price on Nov 1
$306.63
From today
$299.16

Our top pick from $150 to $300. Red, blue and yellow swirls cover the wide blade, and because the Nomad shows so much steel, you see more of the pattern than on a smaller knife. Factory New cost $306.63 and Minimal Wear $297.81 on November 1. Knives with only red and blue, which players call Fire and Ice, cost more. Drops from the Fever Case.

Six more picks in this bracket:

  • Nomad Knife | Case Hardened: blue and gold heat staining that is different on every knife. Field-Tested cost $206.90. Mostly blue patterns, the so-called blue gems, sell for far more than that; our guide to Case Hardened skins explains how the pattern decides the price.
  • Nomad Knife | Tiger Tooth: gold and orange stripes that look the same on every knife, so there is no pattern to hunt. Factory New cost $245.54, 24 cents more than Minimal Wear.
  • Nomad Knife | Slaughter: red with darker swirls, only in Field-Tested, Minimal Wear and Factory New. Minimal Wear at $299.52 was 30 cents more than Field-Tested; Factory New was $332.41.
  • Nomad Knife | Crimson Web: red web lines on black. Field-Tested at $211.06 is the sensible wear here, since Factory New cost $1,117.96.
  • Nomad Knife | Damascus Steel: grey layered steel with a wavy grain. Wear barely shows on it: Field-Tested cost $166.22 and Factory New $203.26.
  • Nomad Knife | Blue Steel: blued metal in grey and dark blue, a quiet finish that fits any inventory. Field-Tested, $185.95.

$300 to $700: Fade and the Four Regular Doppler Phases

Past $300 the Nomad gets its gradient finishes. The Fade and all four regular Doppler phases only exist in Factory New and Minimal Wear, and on November 1 the two wears cost within $17 of each other on every one of them, so we would buy Factory New.

03Nomad Knife | Fade

Nomad Knife | Fade

Wear we would buy
Factory New
Price on Nov 1
$354.78
From today
$360.10

Our top pick from $300 to $700. Purple at the tip, pink in the middle and yellow toward the handle, spread over the full length of the blade. Factory New cost $354.78 and Minimal Wear $354.41 on November 1. The more purple and pink a knife shows, the higher its fade percentage and its price. Drops from the Shattered Web and Fracture cases.

Doppler is a metallic marble finish from the Fever Case, and each phase has its own color set and its own WIKI page. On November 1 Phase 3 and Phase 1 started one cent apart, at $483.65 and $483.66 in Minimal Wear, and the most expensive regular phase was Phase 2 at $561.40. Our pick is Phase 2, the pink and purple one, because on the Nomad’s wide blade the pink covers a large area. Phase 4 is the mostly blue alternative, and Phase 1 has the most black in it. Players also pay extra for Phase 2 knives with more pink and Phase 4 knives with more blue.

Above $700: Black Pearl, Ruby and Sapphire

Above $700 there are only the three Doppler gems: the dark Black Pearl, solid red Ruby and solid blue Sapphire. On November 1 they started between $933.59 and $1,596.83 on our WIKI. Only the Black Pearl had knives listed for trade that day. The Ruby and Sapphire had none, so their WIKI prices are reference values and the price of the next knife to appear may be different.

04Nomad Knife | Doppler Black Pearl

Nomad Knife | Doppler Black Pearl

Wear we would buy
Factory New
Price on Nov 1
$1,644.10
From today
$1,599.98

Our top pick above $700. Near-black steel with a purple and blue shine that changes as the light moves over the blade. Factory New cost $1,644.10 and Minimal Wear $1,596.83 on November 1, and it was the only Doppler gem on the Nomad with listings that day. Drops from the Fever Case, like every Doppler phase.

Two more picks in this bracket:

  • Nomad Knife | Doppler Ruby: one solid red over the whole blade, nearly the same on every knife. The WIKI price on November 1 was $1,451.87 in Minimal Wear, with no knife listed, so check the current price before you plan a trade.
  • Nomad Knife | Doppler Sapphire: solid deep blue. Its WIKI price on November 1 was $933.59 in Minimal Wear, the lowest of the three gems, but no knife was listed. Until a knife is listed, treat this price as a reference and check the current one before you trade.

The Wide Blade: Why the Finish Matters on a Nomad

Valve describes the Nomad as a tactical hunting lock-blade knife with composite handle inserts and a broad, sturdy blade. In first person that broad blade takes up a large part of the screen, so to us the finish matters more on the Nomad than on most knives. A gradient like the Fade or a swirl like the Marble Fade has space to show all its colors at once.

The animation people remember is a rare draw. Now and then, when you pull out the Nomad, your agent appears to cut himself on the blade. Like every knife in CS2, the Nomad does the same damage as the default knife, so the choice is only about looks and animations.

The Nomad came out with three other knives, the Skeleton, Survival and Paracord Knife, and all four share the same finishes and cases. On November 1 the Nomad cost more than the Survival and Paracord in each finish we compared, and less than the Skeleton. If you like the Shattered Web finishes but not the Nomad price, the Survival and Paracord are the cheaper way to get them.

Which Finishes Suit the Nomad

Gradients and swirls look best. The Fade, Marble Fade and Doppler use the whole surface of the wide blade, and that is why they are three of our four top picks. The Damascus Steel grain does something similar in grey for much less money.

Quiet finishes show the shape. The Nomad has a hunting knife profile with a thick handle, and Blue Steel, Night Stripe and the vanilla Nomad keep that shape easy to see. The vanilla knife has no finish and no wear, so every one looks the same; on November 1 it started at $166.03.

Camo finishes look busy. Forest DDPAT, Boreal Forest and Scorched are the cheapest way to own a Nomad, but their small patterns turn into noise on a large blade. If your budget stops below $120, the Night Stripe or a Field-Tested Safari Mesh is the cleaner choice for about the same money.

What Wear to Buy on a Nomad Knife

On camo and plain finishes, buy Field-Tested. A Field-Tested Safari Mesh cost 18 cents more than Battle-Scarred on November 1, and on Forest DDPAT, Boreal Forest and Night Stripe the difference was under one dollar. Factory New is a different price range: Forest DDPAT goes from $91.80 in Field-Tested to $285.80 in Factory New, and Urban Masked from $126.44 to $452.90.

Crimson Web is the extreme case. A Factory New Crimson Web cost $1,117.96, more than five times the Field-Tested price and more than the WIKI price of a Doppler Sapphire that day. Clean knives with a good web placement are scarce, which is why collectors pay that much.

On Fade, Marble Fade, Tiger Tooth and Doppler, buy Factory New. These finishes only come in Factory New and Minimal Wear, and the price difference is cents to tens of dollars. Rust Coat is a special case: it only exists in Battle-Scarred and Well-Worn because the finish is meant to look corroded. For Ultraviolet and Damascus Steel, Field-Tested or Minimal Wear gives the best balance of look and price.

How to Get One: Shattered Web, Fracture, Fever Case or a Trade

Three cases hold the Nomad. The Shattered Web Case of November 18, 2019 and the Fracture Case of August 6, 2020 have it in the 12 original finishes and as the vanilla knife, from Safari Mesh to Fade. The Fever Case of March 31, 2025 added the six Chroma finishes: Doppler, Marble Fade, Tiger Tooth, Damascus Steel, Ultraviolet and Rust Coat. In every one of these cases the Nomad shares the knife slot with the Skeleton, Survival and Paracord Knife, so opening a case for a Nomad in particular is a poor plan. We covered what else came in that case in our Fever Case update post.

Since the October 22, 2025 update, five Covert skins can also be traded up into a knife or gloves from the collection of one of the five skins. Covert skins from the Fever collection can give a Doppler or Marble Fade Nomad, but just as well one of the other three Shattered Web knives. Our CS2 trade-up guide explains the rules.

If you want one specific Nomad in one specific wear, trading is the direct route. Check what your skins are worth with our free CS2 Inventory Value Checker, then trade them toward the Nomad on SkinsMonkey, where trades with our bots go through instantly.

Our top pick in each budget

Bottom line

Buy the Nomad for its wide blade and pick a finish that fills it: Marble Fade if you can reach about $300.

Under $150, a Field-Tested Night Stripe is the Nomad that looks clean on the big blade, and the camo finishes make sense only as the cheapest way to own the knife. Take Field-Tested on those, since Battle-Scarred saves you a few dollars at most.

From $245 to $355 the Tiger Tooth, Marble Fade and Fade are all Factory New for almost the Minimal Wear price, and the Marble Fade and Fade show the most color on this blade. For a Doppler gem, the Black Pearl was the only one listed on November 1, so compare current prices before you trade for a Ruby or Sapphire.

FAQ

What is the best Nomad Knife skin in CS2?

It depends on your budget. Our picks are the Nomad Knife | Night Stripe under $150, the Marble Fade from $150 to $300, the Fade from $300 to $700 and the Doppler Black Pearl above $700, using SkinsMonkey prices from November 1, 2026. The Marble Fade is the one we would buy first, because its swirl covers the Nomad's wide blade for about $300.

What is the cheapest Nomad Knife in CS2?

The Nomad Knife | Safari Mesh. On November 1, 2026 a Battle-Scarred one started at $90.26 on SkinsMonkey and a Field-Tested one at $90.44, so take Field-Tested. Forest DDPAT and Boreal Forest started within $5 of it.

What case is the Nomad Knife in?

Three cases drop it. The Shattered Web Case and the Fracture Case have the Nomad in the original finishes such as Safari Mesh, Case Hardened, Slaughter and Fade. The Fever Case of March 2025 has the Chroma finishes: Doppler, Marble Fade, Tiger Tooth, Damascus Steel, Ultraviolet and Rust Coat.

Is the Nomad Knife cheaper than the Skeleton Knife?

Yes, in the finishes we compared. On November 1, 2026 a Factory New Fade cost $354.78 on the Nomad and $645.00 on the Skeleton Knife. The Survival Knife and Paracord Knife from the same cases were cheaper than the Nomad, with a Factory New Fade under $190.

Which wear should I buy on a Nomad Knife?

Field-Tested on camo and plain finishes, Factory New on Fade, Marble Fade, Tiger Tooth and Doppler. Battle-Scarred to Field-Tested camo Nomads cost within a few dollars of each other, while Fade and Doppler come only in Factory New and Minimal Wear at almost the same price.
