CSGO Anubis Collection: What You Need to Know<\/h1>\n

Every time a new element is introduced to Counter Strike, the whole community gets excited. This year has actually been filled with CS-related announcements. Considering the fact that in March Valve released the news of the game's porting to Source 2<\/strong><\/a>, one could even argue that there has been enough hot news for now. What's more, a new collection (The Revolution Collection) was introduced to the game in February, which included 17 new weapon skins. And while players have been somewhat spoiled by the Counter Strike developer, that hasn't stopped the company from launching yet another set of items, namely the Anubis collection<\/strong>. Read this article to find out what pieces are included in this exciting new release.<\/p>\n

But let's start with some basics.<\/p>\n

What Is the Anubis Collection?<\/h2>\n

Anubis<\/strong> is the latest CS skin collection<\/strong>, which was introduced to the game on April 25, 2023. The set contains 19 new cosmetic items, all of which refer to ancient Egypt, either by name or appearance (or both). It complements the Bomb Defusal map of the same name.<\/p>\n

What Is the Anubis Map?<\/h2>\n

Anubis<\/strong> is one of the newer maps added to the CS:GO world, as it first appeared in the game in 2020. What makes it particularly interesting is the fact that it was actually created by the community. Its authors (apart from Valve Corporation, of course) are players Roald van der Scheur, jakuza<\/strong>, and jd40<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The theme is Egypt, and the map belongs to the Bomb Defusal type. At first, it was only available in Scrimmage mode, which basically served only as an exercise for actual ranked matches. However, it transitioned to Competitive<\/strong><\/a> pretty quickly. Interestingly, Anubis disappeared from the game in 2021, but in 2022, to celebrate CS:GO's 10th birthday, Valve decided to bring it back. What's more, it was added to the Active Duty Map pool, which up to that point only one community-created location managed to do – Cache.<\/p>\n

What Skins Are Included in the Anubis Collection?<\/h2>\n

As we already mentioned, the Anubis collection includes 19 skins<\/strong>, which is really quite a lot. You can find each of them down below, but in order for this article not to take up 5 pages of text, we will limit the information about them to just the basics. Let's start with the most budget-friendly option.<\/p>\n

    This is the cheapest, but definitely not the least spectacular skin included in the collection. If you are a fan of reptiles, we can guarantee that the predatory snake wrapped around this AUG will be to your liking.<\/p>\n
